Τεχνικός ποιοτικού ελέγχου / Quality control technician

The Greek-owned Group of companies STELMA T.S.A., is looking for an Engineer for a permanent work in a project at the largest newbuilding cruise & military vessel shipyard in France.

The Engineer will be a member of technical projects department and will be occupied on long-term projects.

Duties:

• Perform the duties of a Quality Control Engineer (Perform visual inspections that can involve the use of equipment)
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site manager / shipyard representative
• Visit worksites, QA checks on work in progress
• Perform blast and coating inspections as needed
• Deliver paperwork and complete forms/reports as required
• Establish priorities to meet deadlines(inspections)
• Meet productivity goals and quality standards
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications

• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude and conduct with professionalism every worker.
• Greek
• English (C2 Proficient Level)
• French (B2 Intermediate - Optional)
• Microsoft Office
• Former Experience (optional)

This position requires working in areas with the following characteristics: Ability move through restricted openings, confined spaces, crouching (lowering height by bending knees), and kneeling for long period of time in some cases.
