The Procurement Officer will be a member of a leading international company and will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and leading sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence. This role transitions beyond contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and compliance across the organization.
The responsibilities of the Procurement Officer will include:
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, ensuring optimal balance between cost, quality, lead times, and service delivery
- Manage vendor onboarding, evaluation, and continuous qualification. Conduct supplier performance reviews (KPIs, SLAs) and mitigate risk within the supply chain
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with key suppliers. Oversee contract lifecycles, renewals, and legal compliance in line with Group standards
- Perform detailed market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, efficiency gains, and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Drive the implementation of company's procurement policies, sustainable sourcing guidelines, and internal controls. Ensure full audit readiness and compliance across all purchasing workflows
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and Plant Operations to streamline demand planning and resolve procurement challenges proactively
