Responsibilities:

• Editorial Oversight: Oversee all editorial content, ensuring it aligns with our brand's voice, style, and mission.
• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a forward-thinking content strategy that encompasses current trends and audience preferences in the fields of history and archaeology.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of writers, editors, and contributors, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
• Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure that all published content is accurate, well-written, and engaging.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (like marketing, SEO, and social media teams) to coordinate content publication and promotional strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including writers, advertisers, and industry professionals, to foster beneficial partnerships and collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, History, Archaeology, or a related field.

Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of editorial experience, preferably in online publishing.                                                                    • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing editorial teams.

Skills:

• Native English Speaker or Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in content management systems and editorial software.
