We are seeking an experienced Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to oversee and follow up on construction works on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site management, coordination, and supervision of construction works.
- Monitor project progress, quality, schedule and compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare regular progress reports, including:
- Summary of works completed during the reporting period.
- Cash flow projections and current project financial status.
- Health & safety updates.
- Pending issues and outstanding actions.
- Progress photographs.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractor offers and negotiating competitive and fair pricing.
- Review and approve Contractor Payment Certificates.
- Coordinate with the Clients, Contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders as required.
- Identify potential issues and delays and provide timely recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain regular on-site presence and close follow-up of construction progress, quality, and outstanding issues.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in construction/site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, valuations, and project reporting.
- Good knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Local knowledge and professional network in Athens, Paros and Cyclades.
- Immediate availability and ability to join the project team at short notice.
