Procurement Junior Buyer

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a global distributor of specialty materials and a leading producer of essential minerals with over 140 years of successful operation, is seeking a Procurement Junior Buyer.

What you will do:

• Support the sourcing and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, reliability, and business requirements
• Assist in negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and delivery conditions with vendors
• Create, monitor, and follow up purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Analyze supplier quotations and contribute to cost optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support inventory planning and maintain adequate stock levels
• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers while monitoring their performance and service quality

What we are looking for:

Knowledge and Skills:

• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Advanced MS Office user, particularly Excel
• ERP experience (SAP or similar systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Teamwork and collaboration orientation

Education (Degree/Diploma):

High school diploma or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Experience:

1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related business environment
