On behalf of our client, an Ultra-Luxury Resort in Dubai, UWORC is recruiting a Head Hostess for a seasonal/permanent placement.

The Role:

The Head Hostess at is a key member of the guest services team, responsible for creating an unparalleled guest experience in one of Dubai's most prestigious ultra-luxury hotels. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, impeccable grooming, and a deep understanding of high-end service standards. The Head Hostess will oversee the hostess team, ensuring flawless execution of guest services in the hotel's dining and public areas.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring their immediate comfort and satisfaction.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to their requests and concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong guest relationships, ensuring personalized and memorable experiences.
Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the hostess team, ensuring they uphold the highest standards of service excellence.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to hostesses, ensuring optimal coverage during peak times.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, updates, and share best practices.
  • Reservation Management:
  • Manage restaurant reservations and guest preferences to ensure seamless dining experiences.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and service.
Seating Management:
  • Strategically plan and manage table allocations to optimize seating efficiency while accommodating guest preferences.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between hostesses, waitstaff, and kitchen teams.
Guest Flow Management:
  • Monitor guest traffic and waitlists, implementing strategies to minimize guest wait times.
  • Address any potential issues related to guest flow and service delays promptly and professionally.
Service Excellence:
  • Set and maintain exceptionally high service standards, reflecting the hotel's commitment to luxury and sophistication.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with poise, seeking resolutions that exceed guest expectations.
Appearance and Presentation:
  • Maintain a polished and sophisticated personal appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming standards.
  • Ensure the hostess team is consistently groomed and attired to reflect the hotel's luxury image.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated guest experience.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage team to optimize restaurant operations and service quality.
Training and Development:
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to hostesses, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Keep the team updated on the latest industry trends and service techniques.

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse international clientele.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a strong advantage (Russian). English is essential.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage guest flow effectively.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of reservation management software and point-of-sale systems.
