On behalf of a large food industry in Serres with significant export activity, we are looking for:
Logistics Manager-Serres (Ref. 5330/LOM/ESS/GR)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to maintain and adjust production needs in schedule.
- Ensure efficient planning of raw and packaging materials to support production schedules.
- Manage the inventory tracking process and ensures that stock levels are maintained in line depending on sales forecasts.
- Schedule delivery timelines and monitor product dispatch to meet customer requirements efficiently in terms of timing, quality, and business requirements.
- Build and nurture relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance to ensure on-time deliveries and quality standards.
- Explore customer expectations and implement essential changes to fulfill their requirements.
- Manage and solve all issues, updating and managing departmental procedures and processes. Continuous improvement through measures and data analysis
- Provide professional departmental leadership, encompassing all aspects of people management and development.
- Highlight, manage and solve any concerns regarding Health & Safety within the team’s workplace, being responsible for maintaining a high standard of health and safety in the working environment.
