Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client
a multinational construction company for a
Local Procurement Engineer, to build the
Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece.
This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece.
Responsibilities:- Carrying out market research in Greece and abroad of material suppliers and/or project subcontractors
- Compilation of comparative tables about supplies - material / subcontracts & evaluation of the relevant technical and financial offers
- Participation in the drafting, negotiation & control of the technical and financial terms of supply contracts
- Compilation of orders and individual agreements
- Preparation of e-tenders & keeping a record of financial & technical bids as well as an evaluation register of cooperating suppliers
- Monitoring & adherence to schedules from order to receipt of materials
- Visiting suppliers in Greece and abroad to select the appropriate materials
- Collaboration with Technical Directors and Project Managers for the selection of the most suitable materials and/or subcontracts
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 previous experiences in a relevant Procurement department and/or in a construction site/Technical office in Energy projects/Infrastructure projects
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ERP programs will be an asset
- Very good knowledge of the English Language (oral and written)
- Strong Communication & negotiation skills
- Diligence and strong motivation for development
- Ability to prioritize and focus on detail
