On behalf of our client, a pastry shop in Kos, operating since 1918, UWORC is recruiting a Pastry Cook for a seasonal or permanent placement.
What to expect:- Maximum of 8 working hours per day (7:00-15:00)
- 1 day off per week (every Sunday)
- Net Salary: 1500€ per month
- Payment on time.

The Role:
- Prepare a wide range of pastries, including cakes, pies, tarts, cookies, and other baked goods according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Decorate and garnish pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing and appetizing displays.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients, as well as proper handling and sanitation of equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new recipes and innovative pastry creations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock control of pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Stay updated on current pastry trends, techniques, and industry developments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or special requests.

- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role, preferably in a pastry shop or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and ingredient functionality.
- Creativity and ability to develop and execute new pastry recipes and concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
