Plant Manager (Ref. code 6202/PM/ESS/GR)The Role:The
Plant Manager will be overall responsible for the excellent performance of the plant and will take the necessary initiatives to ensure Continuous Improvement of Safety, Quality and Productivity. Will be in close collaboration with Production manager, Safety & Quality Manager, Shift Supervisors and the Maintenance Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:- Development and implementation of initiatives and programs to reach production targets conform with Corporate guidelines
- Responsible for the Budget and necessary investments, while monitoring the profit and loss numbers of the plant
- Achieving high quality, high service level and efficiencies
- Responsible for Safety and Health of all employees
- Direct the planning, development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing methods and processes
- Develop plans, priorities and systems to efficiently utilize all resources (equipment and personnel) in functional area
- Ensure effective use of raw materials and reduce waste
- Responsible for the development of internal employee capacity, people’s involvement and commitment of staff
- Main ‘driver’ for continuous improvement of the production processes.
- Plans and implements process improvement activities to increase production efficiency and reduce cost of production
- Identifies KPI's and is responsible for periodic reporting concerning the operations and recommendations for improvement actions
- Identifies and meets customer expectations for quality and performance of products
- Ensure excellent communication, both internal and external
- Liaise with regional sales teams
