 GEOSYSTEMS HELLAS S.A., a Geoinformatics company based in Pangrati (Athens), is looking for personnel to support the sales department, a talented and motivated Senior Technical PreSales – Technical Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic team. 


Senior Technical PreSales – Technical Documentation Specialist

As being our new Senior Technical PreSales - Writer, you specialize in technology-related products on downstream space, earth observation, mapping, GIS-WebGIS and complex technological projects, you’ll lead the charge in drafting, compelling documents to help GSH win new business, secure funding, or obtain contracts. Be responsible for researching, writing, and editing proposals that align with client needs and project requirements. This involves understanding the client's needs, gathering technical information, developing persuasive narratives, and ensuring the proposal meets all specifications and deadlines.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Skilled professional specializing in crafting compelling proposals and documents aimed at securing business opportunities.
  • Researching, writing, and editing proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and project requirements.
  • Demonstrating a best practice technical sales approach
  • Foster strong relationships with the customers through high quality and frequent customer face to face and or e-meetings.
  • Seek out, develop, and maintain multilevel entry points and relationships with customer target accounts.
  • Submit strategic proposals for the further development of the company.
  • KPIs for increased productivity in sales in a 6 months’ base.

More specifically:

Research:

To thoroughly research the client, the specific project or opportunity, and the competitive landscape to understand the client's needs and expectations. 

Writing:

To develop persuasive and well-structured proposals that clearly articulate the organization's value proposition, solutions, and benefits. 

Editing:

To ensure the proposal is accurate, consistent, and free of errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. 

Collaboration:

To have flexibility and communication to work with various teams, including sales, project management, technical presales and subject matter experts, to gather information and refine the proposal's content and strategy. 

Compliance:

To ensure the proposal adheres to all relevant requirements, guidelines, and deadlines. 

Strategic Thinking:

To develop win themes, articulate solutions, and create compelling narratives that resonate with the client's needs.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Holder of a higher education degree, preferably from a Technological/Engineering direction
  • Working experience of at least three (3) years in relevant role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Knowledge & Use of Greek and English language, oral and written
  • Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to work independently by planning and organizing own work
  • Results oriented and with demonstrated achievements in sales
  • Project management/Sales and/or other geoinformatics engineering experience is preferred

  • A confident communicator and presenter in writing
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Dynamic character, maintaining trusting relationships, communication and understanding of customer needs and understanding of cutting edge digital technologies
