We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Reception to lead the front-desk and call center team of a leading ophthalmology clinic in Athens, part of a multinational healthcare group. This is a key role for a person with excellent leadership and communication skills, who will ensure the smooth operation of daily patient services.

As a Head of Reception, you will be responsible for the below:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of receptionists and call center agents
• Oversee daily operations and workflows to ensure high-quality patient service
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints effectively and professionally
• Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to improve internal processes

For the Head of Reception role, you will need to have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, specifically in ophthalmology (a significant plus)
• Knowledge of Greek public health insurance systems (e.g., EOPYY)
• Experience in managing cash and billing procedures

Experience in a supervisory or management role within the healthcare industry.
