Security Engineer

Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions, certified in Greece with ISO 9001:2015. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client, for a Security Engineer.

Description

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Plan, implement, manage, evaluate, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of the clients' data, systems, and networks.
• Maintain, configure and administer computer systems, servers, networks and security technologies broadly used in the industry.
• Be responsible for the security hardening of the aforementioned systems.
• Deliver Cloud Security Engineering functions intended to establish security elements across private and public multicloud.
• Design, implement, maintain, tune, troubleshoot and support security solutions such as SIEM Solutions (Splunk, Azure Sentinel etc.), Endpoint Security and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), 2-Factor Authentication, File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning and Certificate Authority, Cloud Access Security (CASB), One-time passwords (OTP Tokens), Identity Access Management etc.
• Create documentation and revise the deliverables for complicated/ important projects.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
• A Master’s Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or similar area will be considered an asset.
• At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
• Understanding of both Windows and Linux OS.
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure security (Azure, AWS etc.)
• Experience in any of the following vendor security technologies: SIEM Solutions (Splunk, Azure Sentinel etc.), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), 2-Factor Authentication, File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning and Certificate Authority, Cloud Access Security (CASB), One-time passwords (OTP Tokens), Identity Access Management etc.
• Understanding of Data Centre technology involving Switching & Routing & Firewalling. Experience in planning & troubleshooting of Routing protocols like BGP, OSPF will be considered an asset.
• Understanding of IPS/IDS, DDoS protection, proxy firewall, WAF, as well as networking (TCP/IP, network packet analyzing, network technologies and perimeter protection), will be considered an asset.
• Cyber Security related certifications will be considered as a plus, such as (but not limited to): CISSP (and/or any of its concentrations), CISM, CISA, etc.
