We are looking for a professional and personable Head Host/Hostess to join our team at Conrad Athens The Ilisian. As the Head Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lasting impression that reflects the elegance and luxury of our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the host/hostess team, overseeing daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
• Greet guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality, creating a welcoming and memorable first impression.
• Coordinate reservations, manage seating charts, and strategically optimize table turnover to enhance guest flow and dining experience.
• Assist in the training, onboarding, and mentorship of new host/hostess team members, reinforcing the highest standards of service excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage management team to relay guest preferences, special requests, and service feedback.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front-of-house area, upholding brand image and guest expectations.
• Implement, update, and manage reservation systems and guest databases to ensure accurate tracking of guest profiles, preferences, and special occasions.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a luxury hotel.
  
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in training and supervising staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with reservation management software is highly desirable.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with a professional appearance.
