We are seeking an experienced Construction Contract Administrator to oversee contract administration, cost control, payment certifications, and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial and contractual management of high-end construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, process, and approve payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders in accordance with contractual agreements and project progress.
- Prepare biweekly cost and payment reports for project ownership.
- Review variation orders, claims, and contractual submissions from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Client and project team to evaluate claims and determine appropriate resolutions.
- Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Liaise with the Site Construction Manager, Design Team, and Client representatives.
- Coordinate closely with the accounting department regarding payment releases and financial tracking.
- Monitor project schedules and follow up on subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify work progress and support payment certification.
- Obtain and evaluate multiple quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
- Assist with project cost control, budgeting, and contract documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction contract administration, quantity surveying, cost control, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, payment certification, variations, and claims management.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and contract administration documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Compensation
- Athens-based candidates: €2,500 – €3,000 per month.
- Alternative package available for candidates based in Porto Heli, Kranidi, or nearby areas.
