Assistant Accountant (Marousi)

Job Description

• Process routine accounting transactions including verifying calculations, check or allocate codes, check or obtain information for incorrect or incomplete documents
• Prepare and processes purchase orders, invoices, payments, accounting, and bank reports
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of bank/cash vouchers by processing payments and invoices within closely defined procedures
• Interact with external auditors & tax agents in completing audits and tax returns
• Prepare the basic documentation required for local tax compliance
• Receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments and verify calculations and input codes into the Accounts system
• Participate in preparation of tax declaration monthly ( VAT, withholding taxes etc.)
• Maintain and update records of fiscal transactions
• Enter data into spreadsheet and /or database and maintain records

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance
• 1-2 years of relevant experience 
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good knowledge of MY DATA
