Design Engineer

LMW is seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Engineer, experienced in wood fabrication, on behalf of a leading company specialized in the production and delivery of luxury custom made interiors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all engineering project phases - develop and manage project schedule and work plan to deliver workshop drawings and integration drawings (MEP, Ventilation, FF, etc.)
• Develop innovative designs and solutions for various projects
• Create detailed documentation to support your designs
• Assist outsourcing engineering during design and construction to resolve technical queries and interface issues
• Attend client (designer/yard) meetings as requested and act as primary engineering coordination interface with client and site to ensure that the client’s expectations are met
• Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Deliver to the yard data sheets, specs, reports, certifications and AS BUILT drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design and Production or Architectural Engineering
• 2+ years working experience in Interior Fit-out company and knowledge of wood fabrication
• Working experience in 2D AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of 3D engineering principles and design software, such as SolidWorks
• Good communicative skills in English, both written and spoken
