Position Overview
The Guest Experiences Specialist is responsible for bringing Zélia’s experience programming to life on property. While the overall vision is curated by the Marketing team, this role focuses on execution, guest engagement and sales. The position is highly guest-facing and dynamic, requiring constant presence across the resort.
Key Responsibilities
Experience Programming & Coordination
- Implement the experience calendar in collaboration with the Marketing team
- Adapt programming based on guest flow, seasonality and demand
- Scout and recommend third-party collaborators (musicians, DJs, artists, activity providers)
- Coordinate logistics with internal departments (F&B, Spa, Front Office, Housekeeping)
Experience Delivery & Hosting
- Oversee setup and execution of daily experiences and special events
- Act as host during experiences, ensuring a warm and engaging guest journey
- Monitor atmosphere, flow and guest satisfaction in real time
Guest Engagement, Sales & Upselling
- Actively engage with guests across all resort touchpoints
- Promote and upsell experiences using approved storytelling and sales techniques
- Encourage package purchases (wellness programs, spa and gastronomy bundles)
- Promote premium experiences such as private dining and exclusive activities
- Collaborate with Spa and F&B teams for cross-selling opportunities
Influencers, Media & Content Support
- Welcome and host influencers, editors and media representatives
- Ensure consistent brand storytelling in collaboration with Marketing
- Support the creation of authentic social media content (live moments, behind-the-scenes)
- Capture spontaneous guest experience moments, subject to consent
Monitoring & Feedback
- Track guest participation, revenue and satisfaction levels
- Collect guest feedback and operational insights
- Support online reputation and review monitoring related to experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, Marketing or related field
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, guest experience or lifestyle events
- Sales training and guest psychology knowledge considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with international guests
- Creative, energetic and adaptable personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
