Shipping Administrator

ICAP Employment Solutions, on behalf of a client, a Greek traditional company in the Shipping Market with experience since 1981, situated in the southern suburbs, is seeking a “Shipping Administrator”.  

If you are a committed, discreet and eager team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer literacy to support our Spare parts Department, this role is for you!

• Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
• Monitor and follow up on daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare and compile reports, presentations, and correspondence as required
• Accurately input client inquiries and supplier quotations into the software system
• Manage office supplies and coordinate procurement of goods and services
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely communication and task completion
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Assist in the preparation of contracts, agreements, and other formal documents
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide general administrative support to management and project teams

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering will be considered as a plus
• 2-year work experience in an administrative role in the shipping industry
• Excellent command of English language
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (World, Excel, Power point)

• Additional foreign language and Experience in shipping industry will be considered an asset
