ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the leading companies in cyber security services, is seeking for an Incident Response Expert to join their team.

Incident Response Expert (5913/IRE/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities:

• Support cyber incident response engagements (onsite & remote) from detection to resolution, following SLAs and best practices.
• Assist senior responders and client teams during high-pressure situations.
• Help investigate and contain security incidents (e.g., malware, data breaches, ransomware).
• Contribute to client communications and incident documentation.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and recommend improvements.
• Stay informed on emerging threats and share insights internally.
• Engage in blue/purple team exercises, CTFs, and proactive services (e.g., tabletop workshops).
• Collaborate with company’s CSIRT and join 24/7 on-call rota for major incidents.

• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response.
• Knowledge of the Incident Response and Attack Lifecycle.
• Familiarity with host/network forensics (Windows/Linux) and common attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience or interest in CTFs, labs, or similar activities.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Strong English communication skills and willingness to travel as needed.
