ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, a Bank that started operating as a specialist financier in the Shipping sector and alongside its core market, has extended its activities in Corporate Finance, Trade Finance, Renewable Energy Lending, Commercial Real Estate Lending and Private Banking, is seeking for an experienced HR Officer to join their team.

                                                               Human Resources Officer (5331/HRO/ESS/GR)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Officer responsible for providing support in a wide range of HR functions including payroll, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, staffing and employment law compliance. The role reports to the Head of HR.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Conduct initial orientation (onboarding) to newly hired employees
  • Deal with the employee training and development plan
  • Supervises the payroll process run by external provider
  • Monitor the labor law framework and reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures that policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
  • Prepare required daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as special reports as requested
  • Participate in the annual evaluation performance process
  • Maintain employee personnel files and information (new hires, transfers, terminations, absences etc.)
  • Assist with compensation and benefits planning and administration
  • Complete the benefit and compensation surveys and analyzes data as needed, in cooperation with the Head of HR
  • Support the implementation and coordination of employee events

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of broad based HR experience, preferably in the Banking sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of Greek employment and labor laws
  • Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient with MS Office and HR software
