Geospatial Software Engineer
The Geospatial Software Engineer will specialize in developing,
implementing, and maintaining technology solutions related to mapping, Earth
observation, GIS, and WebGIS applications. This role combines software
engineering expertise with deep understanding of geospatial data and standards.
The engineer will be directly responsible for managing and developing solutions
on Hexagon software platforms, ensuring their effective implementation and
integration into client workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Hexagon
Software Development: Responsible for the implementation, configuration,
and customization of Hexagon geospatial software solutions.
- Software
Development: Design, develop, and maintain Hexagon applications and
geospatial data processing solutions using object-oriented programming and
best practices.
- System
Integration: Integrate Hexagon software with existing enterprise systems.
- Technical
Support & Training: Provide technical expertise to internal teams and
clients, conduct software demonstrations, and train users on system
capabilities.
- Standards
& Compliance: Ensure software solutions comply with geospatial
standards and common data formats.
- Optimization
& Performance: Identify performance issues, optimize software for
server-side and client-side applications, and implement improvements.
- Automation
& Scripting: Develop scripts and tools to automate workflows,
preprocess data, and simplify repetitive tasks.
