On behalf of our client, a well-established and upscale hospitality business located in Zakynthos, we are seeking a Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a luxury resort. Known for combining elegance, comfort, and sustainability, the hotel provides premium accommodation and dining experiences tailored to both leisure and business travelers.
Role Overview:
As a Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in managing the daily operations of both the Half Board (buffet) and À la Carte services. You will lead kitchen teams, supervise quality control, and ensure consistency in food presentation and taste, all while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize all cooking stations and mise en place
- Inspect and manage the quality of ingredients
- Supervise recipe execution, portioning, and food consistency
- Control costs and assist with ordering and inventory
- Ensure optimal food storage and equipment cleanliness
- Monitor staff performance and maintain smooth kitchen operation
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety regulations
