Junior Network Operations Engineer

Job Description

• Provides monitoring, operation and management of efficient and effective networks services
• Carries out administration activities to support the execution of project initiations, system requirements, incident management and cost base management operation excellence in order to ensure a high quality, reliable network service available to all customers
• Supports the call centre and provides 1st and 2nd level tech support and excellent customer service and customer care
• Executes event/incident management, configuration, escalation, release and deployment and 3rd party management activities
• Supports the team to deliver activities related, but not limited to preventive maintenance and acceptance tests
• Ensures other activities are conducted according to the highest level of operations standards in line with KPIs
• Performs assigned tasks in support of consolidation of the Service Assurance function for IT and Networks
• Performs assigned tasks related to planning, scheduling, implementing and testing new services, new features and network expansions

• University degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science
• Experience in telecommunications or Computer Systems or Computers networking and Internet services is considered a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language
• Good knowledge Microsoft windows and MS Office programs
• Advanced communication and reporting/analysis skills
• Flexibility working in both morning and evening shifts
