Project Manager – Fibre Optic Infrastructure (PPC Projects)

Job Description 

• Control and coordinate PPC fibre optic infrastructure projects
• Manage contract awards, supervise construction, and oversee billing and documentation
• Plan and manage PPC fibre optic network projects, including execution and interpretation of final measurements and results
• Coordinate project orders and activities with internal teams and external partners
• Prepare project costing, accounting, post-costing, and maintain project documentation
• Draft tenders, implementation plans, and oversee route finding and route planning
• Monitor schedules and costs continuously, ensuring quality standards are met
• Serve as liaison with clients, authorities, and the internal purchasing department
• Participate in project and construction meetings
• Lead the project team, ensuring discipline, motivation, and strong team spirit to achieve objectives
• Ensure project targets and deliverables are met according to management expectations

Job Requirements 

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management within the telecommunications sector, including FTTH and fibre optic projects
• Basic knowledge of CAD and GIS tools
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
• Strong sense of compliance, accountability, and teamwork
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required
• Willingness to travel for project needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s degree will be considered an asset)
