Junior Financial Information Systems Engineer | Banking Sector

Job Description:

• Prepare and update technical documentation, user guides and training materials
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects
• Provide technical support to end users and ensure the effective operation of financial information systems
• Develop and maintain forms, reports, dashboards, graphs, calculation rules and metadata for Oracle EPM applications, including Hyperion Planning, Strategic Modeling, Tax Reporting and Hyperion Financial Management
• Develop and maintain data solutions in Azure Databricks using Python/PySpark, while supporting and enhancing existing Oracle SQL/PL/SQL applications

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field
• Up to two (2) years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python, with an understanding of database concepts and data processing
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, or ETL technologies will be considered an asset
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of relational databases
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset, adaptability and a proactive approach
