Java Developer

Xcelsus Hellas is a new IT service company in Thessaloniki, owned by the Xcelsus Group which has customers in different industries.

We are currently seeking for highly motivated software engineers with good Java and web development skills to support our web development team.

The Team

You will work in small teams with other software developers to develop new but also to expand already established business applications.

The Role

We are looking for a Java Developer who is a team-player and can take initiatives so that he can support our customers in the IT consulting sector.

As an application developer at our young, up-and-coming company based in Thessaloniki, you will support our primarily German-speaking customers in the implementation of exciting projects and requirements.

In doing so, you will be an important part of the customer team, both in consulting and in the actual implementation.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Strong communication skills in German
• Strong communication skills in Greek or English
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of Java-Language and common used frameworks
• Git
• Javascript
• HTML, CSS, Node.js

The knowledge of the below is appreciated:

• Kubernetes
• Spring
• Maven
• Junit
• Typescript
• Angular
• Grafana
• Prometheus
• Jenkins

Soft skills :

• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Open-mindedness
