Role Description
We are
seeking a Junior Procurement Engineer for a position based in Nea Santa, Kilkis. In this role, you will work closely with both the design and
production teams to ensure the timely ordering and efficient management of
metal materials, such as sheet metal and tube laser, sourced from
external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process requests from the
Production Supervisor and Design Department Manager.
- Work closely with the design
team to extract metal parts from 3D drawings for each order.
- Research the market, assess
supplier offers, make selections, and place orders.
- Track orders and manage
delivery timelines.
- Enter data into the ERP system
(SoftOne) efficiently.
- Ensure quality and quantity
control upon material receipt.
- Coordinate the transportation
of raw materials to external suppliers.
- Keep track of metal part
inventory in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or
Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D drawing
interpretation (design skills not required).
- Excellent communication and
teamwork abilities with internal and external teams.
- Proficient in English and
well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SolidWorks or
other CAD software is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is
also beneficial.
