The University of
Nicosia invites applications for the role of Information Technology Officer for
our upcoming Athens campus. This role is essential for maintaining the
integrity and performance of the campus’s IT infrastructure and ensuring the
delivery of reliable, secure, and efficient technological support to all users.

Key Responsibilities:
Technology Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the
management and maintenance of the Athens campus IT systems, including
networks, hardware, and software.
- Install,
upgrade, and maintain computer systems, including servers and
workstations, network equipment, and technology platforms.
- Define
technical specifications for equipment and oversee procurement processes.
User Support and Training:
- Provide
timely technical support and training to staff and faculty.
- Resolve IT
issues and ensure optimal user satisfaction.
- Assist
users in maximizing effective use of systems and tools.
Cybersecurity and Policy Compliance:
- Implement,
enforce, and monitor data protection policies and IT security protocols.
- Ensure
systems are compliant with regulatory and university-wide IT standards.
Budget and Performance Oversight:
- Manage the
IT budget and track expenditures.
- Monitor
performance indicators, suggest improvements, and manage service-level
objectives.
