Head Chef

On behalf of our client, a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Limassol, DART Recruitment is seeking to recruit an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and drive culinary excellence.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and creative culinary professional with proven leadership experience in high-end, stand-alone restaurants. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food quality, developing the kitchen team, and contributing to the restaurant's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth coordination across all sections.
• Allocate chefs to the appropriate kitchen stations based on skills and operational needs.
• Identify training needs and support the continuous development of team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews together with the Sous Chef and communicate effectively with the HR department.
• Monitor kitchen performance and ensure operational and financial targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on menu development and menu descriptions.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.

Candidate Profile

• Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Head Chef within a reputable stand-alone or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in menu development and menu engineering.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
