DETURBO company was established in 2017 in Hamburg, Germany and since 2019 has extended its presence in Piraeus, Greece. DETURBO offers overhauling and repair services for all Diesel Engines & Turbocharger types and reconditioning of engine and turbocharger parts.
DETURBO is looking for a capable Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support our service and workshop operations.
Job Tasks
- Work alongside experienced service engineers, assisting with maintenance jobs and repair activities both in the workshop and onboard vessels or at customer sites.
- Support maintenance, repair, and service operations while contributing to various company projects and technical assignments.
- Assist in the preparation and handling of equipment, tools, and materials required prior to service attendances.
- Become familiar with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe practices.
- Work according to established safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Support the smooth execution of workshop and field service activities as assigned by supervisors and senior engineers.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and grow within the organization.
- Availability to travel at short notice when required.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard PC applications.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
