Business Analyst – Cards Ecosystem (Banking)

Job Description

• Engage actively with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and understand business requirements

• Document functional system designs with clarity for current implementation and future scalability

• Develop comprehensive use cases and test scenarios to validate system functionality and user experience

• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to support innovation and process improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions

• Support the implementation of enhancements across issuing, acquiring, and loyalty platforms

Candidate Profile

• 4–7 years of experience in business analysis within the banking sector, with a strong focus on the cards ecosystem

• Proven experience in the following areas:

o Issuing – EMV cards, tokenization, and digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay)

o Acquiring – ATM and POS transaction systems

o Loyalty platforms – integration and process management

o VISA/Mastercard – authorization, clearing, and settlement processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements in the card payments domain

• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills
