Job Overview

Job Title: HR Sr. Manager
Department: HR
Office Location: Resort Property
Manager: HR Operations Director (direct reporting), Hotel General Manager (functional reporting)

General purpose of the role

The Human Resources Sr. Manager acts as the bridge between HR and Operations and oversees the daily operations of the Human Resources department in the resort. The HR Senior Manager will be managing a team of HR Coordinators and HR Administration Officers in addition to the Accommodation & Transportation Manager of seasonal employees. By holding this position, you understand that you play a vital role in ensuring an employee experience of the highest standard reflecting the company’s culture values and ethos. You will be working closely with other HR functions such as C&B, L&D and TA to secure the expected outcome in areas of seasonal recruitment, employee relations, employee satisfaction, compensation, internal comms, training, development, and you will be expected to report HR data to the business.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy and Policy Improvement: Continuously enhance HR operational policies to align with the Group’s HR strategy
  • Budget Management: Manage the HR department's budget, adapting it to align with departmental priorities and the overall HR strategy
  • Leadership Guidance: Provide advice on employee morale, relations, and discipline to the hotel leadership team
  • HR Strategy for Seasonal Employees: Implement Group HR strategies to retain seasonal staff and increase their return rate
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate with Hiring Managers in recruiting seasonal employees and ensure high-standard pre-boarding, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes
  • Collaboration and Employee Documentation: Facilitate smooth collaboration with other HR functions and manage employee contracts, permits, and visas

Required Education / Qualifications / Other Accreditations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management
  • Fluency in English
  • 2-3 years in a similar position, preferably in a large-scale organization
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint; HRM system experience (e.g., Pylon) is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Ergani and Greek labor law is a plus
  • Strong in interpersonal communication, managerial, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach
