ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a leading luxury hospitality organisation, is seeking a highly accomplished Human Resources Director based in Northern Greece to lead the development and transformation of its HR function and support the organisation’s continued growth and portfolio expansion.

The Role

The Human Resources Director will play a key leadership role in shaping the organisation’s people agenda during a period of significant transformation and growth.

The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of a complex hospitality organisation, with high visibility across the business and close interaction with ownership and senior management. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, the role offers significant scope for career progression and increased leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads the overall HR and People Strategy, aligned with the organisation’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Leads the development and transformation of the HR function, establishing the appropriate organisation, structure, capabilities, policies and processes to support business needs.
  • Designs and oversees core HR processes and programmes across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee relations and succession planning.
  • Leads workforce planning, staffing strategies and HR budgeting, ensuring organisational readiness to support current operations and future growth.
  • Evaluates and implements HR systems and technology, enhancing operational efficiency, reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drives talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, leadership development and employer branding initiatives to strengthen organisational capability and attract high-calibre talent.
  • Partners with senior management and key stakeholders on organisational design, change management and culture transformation, while supporting business expansion and organisational development.
  • Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to ownership and senior leadership on people, organisation, leadership and culture, contributing to the broader business and transformation agenda.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a relevant field. A postgraduate degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline is strongly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, with significant experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related digital tools.
  • Proven experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, tourism or other complex, multi-site service environments. Experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.
  • Previous hands-on experience in the opening, pre-opening or repositioning of an internationally branded hotel or resort is highly desirable.
  • Strong potential and ambition to evolve into a broader Cluster HR Director role, with responsibility across multiple hotel properties as the organisation expands.
  • Demonstrated track record in HR transformation, organisational design and the development of HR structures, systems and processes.
  • Broad expertise across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development and succession planning.
  • Solid experience in workforce planning, large-scale recruitment and organisational development, ideally within a fast-growing or transforming organisation.
  • Knowledge of Greek employment legislation and HR governance, combined with sound commercial understanding and the ability to align people strategy with business objectives.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with a strategic, hands-on and results-oriented approach and the ability to operate effectively in a complex and dynamic organization.
