ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client a manufacturing company in the FMCG sector, a leading company dedicated to quality, sustainability, innovation and social responsibility, is seeking:

Chief Financial Officer - Karditsa (Ref. 5487/CFO/ESS/GR)

Profile:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strong leadership skills and a track record of success in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance, accounting and credit control functions, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives, optimize capital allocation and drive profitability.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making on key initiatives, investments and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvements.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in industrial environment with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent Knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software (e.g. SoftOne, BI)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving progress and evolution in a dynamic environment.
• Strong sense of accountability in delivering results according to strategy and plans
• Impeccable attention to detail and impactful presentation skills across diverse audiences
