Certification Manager

Job Information

Office Location: Thessaloniki | Greece
Department: ESG
Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Your main responsibilities

  • Plans and implements ISO and other standards development in all hotels. SIG is certified with ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064 and ISO ISO 22000.
  • Also SIG is certified with Travelife, Green key and Blue Flag certification.
  • Updates all the relevant procedures (In English and Greek)
  • Monitors implementation of procedures and requirements during operation with regular internal audits and reporting.
  • Ensures that certification process runs smoothly within the organization
  • Works closely with the certification team of the certification body
  • Supports any other H&S audits with procedures, data and other information. This includes tour operators, Authorities etc
  • Supports all the hotels on site preparing the certification and during the audit process
  • Closes any NC. (non-conformities)
  • Provides training to various departments on various standards depending on the needs, online and on the job.
  • Develops project proposals for new standards and develops all the procedures, manual etc
  • Requires and provides input to the ongoing development of ESG standards and reporting.

Required Education/ Qualifications/ Other Accreditations

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Science, engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of GRI is a strong asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the luxury, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Superior command of English, both in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong project, time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel when needed
