Head of Accounting – Real Estate Company in Athens

As the Head of Accounting , you'll be responsible for setting up and managing the company's finance and accounting operations in Greece. Your role will be essential in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, structure, and manage the accounting and finance department
• Review and monitor client accounts and company's finance
• Prepare, analyze, and submit financial reports, KPIs, and data-driven insights
• Ensure regulatory and tax compliance across all financial activities
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and oversee document management
• Support senior management in budget planning, cost control, and performance monitoring
• Identify and implement process improvements for better financial efficiency

✅ Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

Proven experience in accounting or financial management (preferably in real estate or service-oriented industries)

Deep understanding of Greek tax regulations and compliance

Strong analytical skills and hands-on approach to problem-solving

Proficient with accounting software and spreadsheets

Excellent communication in Greek and English

Ability to work independently and take initiative
