Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in marine engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support to our clients in the marine sector.
Major tasks:
- Accomplish annual sales targets in line with the company’s targets and priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with marine clients.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design tailored solutions for clients.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations.
- Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and related procedures, and identify opportunities for growth on the complete product portfolio and services.
- Expand DETURBO clientele and increase penetration mainly in the Greek and Cypriot area.
- Following up on sales quotations, negotiating and visiting customers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in sales or technical support in the marine industry
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
