As a Health and Safety Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety plans in accordance with legal guidelines.
• Establishing and enforcing policies and procedures to foster a strong culture of health and safety, including promoting a 5S environment in the workplace.
• Generating regular progress reports for management, including key performance indicators related to health and safety and project updates.
• Assessing practices, procedures, and facilities to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conducting training sessions and presentations on health and safety topics, emphasizing accident prevention.
• Planning and coordinating internal H&S audit programs with contractors, ensuring non-conformities are addressed and corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitoring employee and operational compliance with policies and laws through regular inspections.
• Reporting on health and safety awareness issues and compiling relevant statistics.
• Managing and addressing H&S-related complaints from clients, staff, and plant management.

For the Health and Safety Engineer position, you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical , Chemical or Electrical Engineering (5-year Degree)
• Excellent Command in Greek and English Language (written-spoken)
• Knowledge of the 5S methodology and its implementation in a manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines and standards
• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
• Advanced skills using MS Office. Knowledge of SAP will be considered as an asset
• Good knowledge of data analysis, accident investigation with 5Ys methodology and risk assessment
