ManpowerGroup, on behalf of a client within a leading multinational technology company specializing in digital power solutions, renewable energy, and intelligent energy management, is seeking a Customer Support Engineer – Photovoltaic (PV).
We are hiring two professionals, one based in Athens and one based in Thessaloniki.
Position Summary
The company is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Support Engineer to join our Photovoltaic (PV) business team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to customers, partners, and field teams, ensuring the reliable operation and performance of company’s solar energy solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for PV products and solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Support the commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of PV systems.
- Collaborate with sales, service, and R&D teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Deliver technical training and product guidance to customers, installers, and business partners.
- Analyze system performance, identify root causes of faults, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, and case reports.
- Ensure compliance with Company’s service standards and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Support customers during system upgrades, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing professional and responsive technical support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Previous experience in a technical support, customer support, field service, or similar engineering role, preferably within the renewable energy, photovoltaic, power electronics, or electrical industry.
- Basic understanding of photovoltaic systems, inverters, energy storage systems, and electrical power distribution is preferred.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken) is required.

- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic networking concepts is an advantage.
