Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations within a dynamic food production environment. This role requires a balance of people management, technical acumen, production planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead operational teams, optimize performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production operations to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets
• Ensure production plans are accurately developed and effectively executed in coordination with relevant departments
• Supervise and support the Production Planning function to align schedules with capacity, inventory, and operational goals
• Monitor performance indicators (output, yield, OEE, waste, labor efficiency) and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee material flow and ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, and equipment
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely execution of scheduled servicing and technical support
• Train, support, and evaluate production personnel while fostering accountability and a collaborative team environment
• Utilize production systems (ERP) and tools like Excel for monitoring and reporting
• Contribute to strategic projects focused on process enhancement, automation, and operational culture

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Food Technology, Industrial) or another relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role within food production or a related manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing production lines and leading multidisciplinary shop floor teams

Technical & Digital Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems for production management and planning
• Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting dashboards)
• In-depth understanding of production KPIs and their practical application
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus
