Senior Accountant

The key responsibilities of the role are the following:

• Manage all core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax preparation.
• Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adhering to Greek GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Guarantee prompt and precise submission of all statutory obligations, such as VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, stamp duty, Intrastat, VIES, and MyDATA.
• Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and ensure continuous AADE compliance.
• Maintain full compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with other departments on cost allocations and expense management.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications like ACCA or CPA are a strong plus.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in a corporate or multinational setting.
• Robust knowledge of Greek tax legislation and ΕΛΠ (Greek Accounting Standards).
• Excellent command English.
