THEMA S.A., the Operation and Maintenance Company managing the Thessaloniki Metro Network, is looking for candidates to work as Stewards.
Responsibilities indicative and not restrictively
General:
- Monitoring and control the operation of the metro
- Control and surveillance of passenger to ensure safety and regularity of operations
- Assist passenger with information and helping with tickets
- Monitoring the availability of the equipment in stations
- Drive trains/rescue vehicles in case of emergency situations
- Remote monitoring and control of station/line equipment and on- board train system
- Support external stakeholders in case of emergency situations
- Management of anomalies and system failures
Railway safety:
- Ensure daily work is conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations, rules, standards, and procedures related to railway safety and internal procedures
Work environment:
- Ensure that daily work is conducted in accordance to the applicable regulations, rules, standards, and procedures related to work environment.
- Ensure a good daily collaboration in between operations staff
Quality:
- Contribute to and maintain the company quality management system through compliance with the outlined procedure and instructions.
- Customer related skills
- Ability to make the right decisions – also in stressful situations.
- Ability to manage crisis and emergency.
Education, Experience and Key Skills
- Technical qualification is preferable
- Must be able to work at all hours and in shift
- Good knowledge of English oral and written
- Ability to handle difficult situation
- Customer oriented person
