A prominent property development and construction company based in Chania, expertised in designing, developing, and constructing residential properties, luxury villas, boutique hotels, and mixed-use commercial buildings, is lookin for an experienced Construction Site Engineer.
As a Construction Site Engineer your responsibilities will be :
- Daily site management, organization, task allocation, and direct coordination of crews and subcontractors.
- Reading, understanding, and implementing architectural and technical drawings, along with the timely identification of any discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Close monitoring of project progress against the construction schedule, identifying critical-path tasks, and reporting potential delays.
- Continuous quality control of executed works, inspection and acceptance of subcontractor tasks, and tracking the resolution of defects.
- Management of on-site materials (checking quantities, deliveries, and proper storage) and timely notification to the Procurement department for new orders.
- Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports for Management, supported by photographic documentation.
- Strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures, ensuring the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and collaborating with the Safety Technician.
