ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, is seeking a Strategic Municipal Consultant to join their team in Crete.

Strategic Municipal Consultant (6180/SMC/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a strategic approach for presenting the project to target municipalities.

• Communicate with municipalities and public authorities and support the organization and coordination of meetings.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with municipal representatives and other public stakeholders.

• Present the project’s objectives, timeline and expected outcomes in a clear and engaging manner.

• Coordinate follow-ups with municipalities and support the smooth implementation of project activities.

• Monitor the progress of municipal collaborations and prepare updates and reports for management.

• Contribute to SWOT analyses, market/stakeholder assessments and other activities supporting strategic planning.

• Represent the project in meetings and stakeholder interactions, helping increase its visibility and engagement.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with different stakeholders.

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with confidence in communicating and promoting a project or initiative.

• Interest in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and project management.

• Previous experience in consulting, business development, public affairs, project coordination, communications or a related field will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.

• Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks, meetings and follow-ups.

• A proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented mindset.

• Passion for social impact, and community engagement initiatives.
