Job responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and pool areas to prevent accidents and injuries
• Enforce facility rules and safety regulations
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues, first aid, and CPR when needed
• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the water
• Inspect pool and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Provide courteous assistance and information to guests

Job requirements

• Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• Strong swimming and rescue skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous lifeguarding or aquatic safety experience
• Experience working with children and families in recreational environments
