A growing real estate company is looking for a full-time Project Manager / Engineer based in Thessaloniki, Greece, to manage and supervise the company’s real estate renovation and development projects.
The position is suitable for a hands-on, organized, and reliable engineer who can manage works on site, coordinate with professionals and subcontractors, support feasibility and pricing analysis, and help the company move projects forward efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
- On-site supervision of renovation and construction works.
- Daily coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, designers, surveyors, and other professionals.
- Monitoring project progress, timelines, execution quality, and construction standards.
- Identifying technical issues on site and helping solve them quickly and practically.
- Supporting feasibility analysis for new properties, buildings, and plots.
- Assisting with project pricing, cost estimates, quantities, and technical budgets.
- Reviewing offers, invoices, and quantities from contractors and suppliers.
- Coordinating and following up on permit-related matters together with architects and external engineers.
- Handling project-related technical matters with authorities and utility companies, including EYATH, DEDDIE, municipalities, engineers, and public services.
- Supporting checks before acquisition, including technical condition, development potential, risks, and required works.
- Preparing clear project updates and reports for company management.
- Maintaining organized project documentation, drawings, offers, permits, invoices, photos, and progress reports.
- Supporting quality control before handover and ensuring the final product meets company standards.
- Assisting with client / investor technical updates when required.
- Working with internal project documentation systems such as Google Drive.
Requirements:
Must be an engineer — civil engineer, mechanical engineer, architect engineer, or similar relevant technical background.
- Experience in construction, renovations, or real estate development projects.
- Strong on-site supervision experience.
- Good understanding of construction methods, technical drawings, quantities, budgets, and timelines.
- Ability to communicate clearly with contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, authorities, and management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Practical problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage several projects and responsibilities in parallel.
- Greek language required.
- English is required.
- Driving license is required.
