Mechanical Engineer

INGROUP, on behalf of its client, is looking for a mechanical engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical works on construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Review mechanical designs, drawings, technical submittals, and method statements to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor project progress, quality of execution, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines for the smooth execution of works.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical offers, material specifications, and equipment selection.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout all project phases.
• Prepare technical reports, site documentation, progress updates, and as-built records as required.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering and membership in the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE)
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles within construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects
• Proven experience in the supervision, coordination, and execution of mechanical installations and systems
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation
• Experience in site engineering, project coordination, and contractor/subcontractor management
• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering/design tools such as AutoCAD; familiarity with project management software will be considered an asset
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments
