About the job
Culinary: Chef De Partie
Locations: Greece: Corfu, Kos, Halkidiki, Crete
Duration: 7 months, between March-November
At Sani/Ikos Group, the Culinary department is where creativity meets craftsmanship. From passionate Chefs to dedicated Cooks, our team members craft culinary masterpieces with meticulous attention to recipes and guidelines.
Whether preparing dishes for our buffet or à la carte restaurants, pride is taken in delivering menus crafted by Michelin-starred chefs.
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes for your designated station, following recipes and presentation standards.
Section Management: Organize and oversee your station, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth workflow during service.
Quality Control: Check the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes before they leave the kitchen.
Teamwork: Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver menu items consistently.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
About you
You hold a culinary arts degree or a certificate from a vocational school, and you have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Line Cook. You have strong culinary skills and are confident managing your own section independently in a fast-paced kitchen. You bring leadership abilities and are able to supervise and guide junior cooks or commis chefs effectively. You also have a solid understanding of HACCP standards and kitchen health and safety procedures, ensuring consistent compliance and high operational standards.
