CORINTH PIPEWORKS S.A., in the context of its increasing production needs, is seeking an Operations Technology Assistant Technician for the Automation Maintenance Department at the Company’s plant in Thisvi, Viotia.
The OT Systems & Networks Technician will support the operation, monitoring, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of Operational Technology (OT) systems and industrial network infrastructure used in manufacturing operations. The role focuses on assisting senior OT, automation, and maintenance personnel in ensuring reliable connectivity, system availability, accurate documentation, and compliance with health, safety, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, procedures, and instructions.
- Support the monitoring and basic maintenance of OT infrastructure, including industrial PCs, HMIs, SCADA workstations, PLC communication interfaces, switches, and related network equipment.
- Assist in first-level troubleshooting of OT systems and industrial network connectivity issues, escalating complex problems to the OT Systems and Network Engineer or Automation Maintenance Manager.
- Perform routine checks on network cabinets, patch panels, cabling, UPS units, industrial switches, and communication status of critical OT devices.
- Support basic configuration, replacement, and installation activities for OT network components under guidance from senior technical staff.
- Assist with user support, workstation checks, backups, software updates, and basic administration tasks for OT-related systems, following approved procedures.
- Follow OT cybersecurity rules, access control practices, and secure remote access procedures, reporting suspicious events or deviations promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network connections, equipment lists, IP addresses, cabinet layouts, interventions, and troubleshooting actions.
- Collaborate with automation, IT, maintenance, production, and external vendors to support reliable operation of OT systems and networks.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to OT reliability, standardization, housekeeping, and response time improvement.
